Bio

I’m a licensed therapist with over 7 years of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, perfectionism and overwhelm. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University.

My clinical background includes churches, schools, community mental health, and a collaborative group practice where I began to specialize in anxiety treatment.

Today, my work is rooted in a holistic, mind-body approach — integrating evidence-based therapies like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with nervous system support to help clients experience lasting, meaningful change.

About Katie

Clinical Approach

Have you been feeling stuck in cycles of overthinking, perfectionism, and constant pressure—while quietly feeling overwhelmed or stretched too thin?

I can help.

I support high-achieving women who are used to holding everything together—but are starting to feel the weight of doing it all.

On the outside, you may look capable and composed.
But internally, your mind feels busy, your body feels tense, and it’s hard to truly relax.

You’ve likely spent a lot of time trying to manage your anxiety—pushing through, staying productive, keeping up with expectations.
And part of you is starting to wonder if there’s a different way to live and feel.

In our work together, we gently begin there.

I take a holistic, mind-body approach to anxiety—helping you understand why your anxiety shows up, how your nervous system responds to stress, and how to support yourself in a way that actually feels sustainable.

My approach is supportive, collaborative, and grounded in real-life application.
I work best with women who are thoughtful, self-aware, and ready to explore a new way of relating to themselves—with more flexibility, compassion, and intention.

As things begin to shift, you may notice small but meaningful changes.

Your mind feels a little quieter.
Your body feels a little more at ease.
There’s less pressure to be perfect—and more space to simply be.

You may find yourself showing up more fully in your life…
not just for others, but for yourself too.

I’ve supported many women in moving out of patterns of overwhelm and into a way of living that feels more grounded, steady, and aligned.

And if you’re here, there’s a good chance that kind of change is possible for you too.

I don’t view anxiety as something that’s broken—or something that needs to be fought or eliminated.

Instead, we approach it with curiosity and understanding.

Anxiety is a natural response from your mind and body. It’s designed to protect you, even if it doesn’t always feel helpful in the moment. When we begin to understand how your thoughts, emotions, and nervous system are working together, everything starts to make a little more sense—and change becomes more possible.

In our work together, we use a blend of evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Rather than working against your thoughts and emotions, we focus on changing your relationship to them.

You’ll learn how to:

• Notice your thoughts without getting pulled into them
• Respond to anxiety in a way that feels more grounded and intentional
• Understand how your nervous system reacts to stress—and how to support it
• Shift patterns that are keeping you stuck, with both insight and practical tools

This work isn’t about forcing yourself to feel differently or “fixing” every anxious thought.

It’s about learning how to work with your mind and body as they were designed—so you can feel more steady, more flexible, and more in control of how you respond.

When we take this approach, the relief you experience isn’t just temporary.

It’s lasting—because it’s rooted in a deeper understanding of yourself and a more supportive way of moving through the world.
